Well Aras certainly went all out on that FIC. Who knows maybe he can beat Abi and Liz at the end. RIP SoKim tho She was most enjoyable to watch all season long imo.

I've been reading through the Ponderosa, and I just wanted to put my thought out there. I will say, that I don't have a huge idea of what the social dynamics were, outside of what the confessionals said, so my view is not entirely omniscient. Similarly, I have to take into account the spin people put on things in their confessional, to get a ore nuanced idea of what is happening. Let me further preface this by saying I fully subscribe to the viewpoint that, whoever the jury decides, is the right winner. No one who wins doesn't deserve it, as far as I'm concerned.
Having said that, I can disagree with what criteria or method the jurors are going off of. Abi is a sweet person. I like Abi. However, to VOTE for her in the end is...questionable, because I don't think this is a Natalie White situation, where she stealthily made moves. She survived by virtue of being the least threatening member of her alliance, and perceived as a goat - if she actively cultivated that image, I'd give her more credit, but based off her confessionals, I don't think she had much of a clue. And maybe I'm underestimating her, since she's not the most eloquent speaker, and maybe she's just not articulating what she's trying to go for in great depth or accuracy, but based off what I've seen, similar to her game in Warriors 4, I don't think this is a winning game.
If she does win, I don't think its because of anything she did - it's because Aras pissed people off. Don't get me wrong, Aras has played far from a perfect game, but I feel like people are being harsh on him - he didn't make personal attacks, he just flipped, and true to his word he got to the end with two less then stellar players. I feel like people are upset he didn't play the game to further theirs, when from all accounts, when their game interests coincided, they seemed to like the guy. If their hatred of Aras leads to an Abi win, I won't dispute the title to her, the jury is the ultimate decider, if Aras fucked things up bad enough he doesn't deserve to win. The jury votes for who they can stomach seeing win, who they like the most - I just feel like their hating on Aras' personality, but determining what his personality is off of his gameplay. From my vantage point, he tried to do the moves in a semi-classy way, he's not a Russell in that manner - he was cutthroat, but he seemed to struggle with it. But their willfully forgetting that to justify their own story of what happened.
I will be OK with whoever wins. Having said that, if I was on the jury, my vote would 100% go to Aras. Just some food for thought, curious to see what the other PW's think about the situation.

For me personally, it'd be Abi. Aras tends to come across as a major know it all, and if you're going to play the game he played its a very bad idea to be as much of a jerk as he seemed to be. A lot of people are quick to slap the "bitter" label on juries who don't want to vote for someone who treated them badly, but in my opinion being an asshole to jurors is just as much a "bad move" as lying unnecessarily or making too many deals. Social game is just as important as strategic game, and I'd say the fact that Abi has proponents in the jury who are defending her gameplay is indicative that she's done a few things right to get there.

I'm pulling for Aras 100x over. He's the only one of the three that played a game. I've played with Abi and was close with her and she really doesn't have much of a strategic mind of her own. Liz was clearly uninvested in this game. Aras deserves this despite some obvious fuckups on his end. So would've been a great winner but Abi and Liz just wouldn't.

Natalie's questions are PERFECT.
"This isn’t so much a question, as it is a request. I don’t relate well to nice people, So I want you to show us your true nasty self. Tell me why you don’t like each member of the Jury. Tell me why they piss you off, why they don’t deserve to be sitting in the final 3, the whole 9 yards."
LMAO "true nasty self" Goddess Indeed.

Am I the only one who would love it if a juror asked "post as man pictures of rainbows and puppies as you can?" Positivity in the FTC is nice, especially given some of these jurors animosity. Lighten the mood a little.

Ugh. Aras is putting SO MUCH EFFORT into this whole thing, and to think he's not gonna win breaks my heart. The guy's a good kid.
Aras I think is going to enter the Sophie Clarke Pantheon of people who managed to make it to the end and be the most entertaining person in the finals, but whose flawed gameplay doomed them to lose. And I can pretty much guarantee that in my rankdown of the Pure cast so far in the S3 board that Aras will probably be a top five character, hands down.

Wow, Liz might become the first person ever to win a game without actually making an appearance at FTC.
I don't know how to feel about this FTC. Aras has had a seriously disproportionate amount of arrogance for as long as I've known him, and on one level I want him to lose just so he'll be forced to actually sit back and consider the possibility that he actually isn't God's gift to survivor the way he thinks he is. It's a lesson he won't learn if he wins, and he'll only be more insufferable if the jury teaches him that it's okay to treat people like shit.
On the other hand, the fact that Liz is even remotely in contention to win at this point is the clearest possible sign that this jury is more interested in fucking with Aras than they are in actually attempting to give the win to someone who deserves it. Liz is not strategically sitting back. If anything, she's probably trying to figure out if it's possible to submit her answers to jury questions via AIM. If you're even remotely considering voting for someone like that as opposed to someone who's actively making an effort, you need to evaluate your whole decision-making process.
An Abi win would be somewhat boring, I feel like, and I have many of the same problems with that that I have with a Liz win.
