This confessional post is going to have to be organized. Talking about each tribe individually, then what's happening with cross-tribal shit.
Lomand
This tribe is weird. There's a lot of dead fish kinda conversations going on. People that are really half assing it from my perspective. A conversation cannot always be the same damn hi how are you crap that I'm seeing. I'm looking at you David/Aras/Joe. Give me something to work with. I cannot keep lobbing conversation topics at you and you just say "hahah I know bro" (actual response to me asking if they've seen the current Survivor season, tried again and got the same response). When I can tell that you're not really reading things I say, that's an immediate red flag. Anyways, the real red flag here is am I just shitting up conversations and they don't give a fuck about me? I need to find this out and that's what I've done. I'll kinda lay it out in a bit here.
Let's go person by person.
Angie: She's the stand out from this tribe for me. Easy to talk to and we're able to shoot the shit easily. A big thing between us right now is honesty. We're fine being open about the game to each other, especially our feelings on other players. This is big in this game because I'm getting a lot of "Everyone's great! WHOO!" and holy shit is it just a piss off when I hear that. Like be open with me and that's how I'm going to be close to you.
Now, is she my biggest ally right now is a big question. On this tribe? Yes. In the game? Maybe. She's closing the gap on Jim. We are completely open on our feelings about the other players and we've started plotting with an alliance we have with Vince and Jim.
Speaking of alliance with Vince and Jim, let's move on to...
Vince: Okay buddy. Okay. Ooookay. You. YOU. What are you even? You basically shoved Angie, Joe, and I into an alliance with you. Oh oh wait lol, that's just what I'm telling Angie. My initial stages of working with Vince was let's get him to set up alliances. I want him as the seeming kingpin of a small operation. The bigger he is, the more of a target he can have and I don't have to have. First, I worked him up with talking to Angie and told him we should kinda get something going there. He retorted with hell yes, and that we should have someone else, he suggested Joe and I was like sure whatever, I don't really care. So I just go back to my normal conversations with Angie and Joe, not mentioning alliances, Vince comes back to me and asks if I've set it up yet, I tell him the right time hasn't come up yet. Do that a couple times, he does it himself. Sets up this stuff with Joe and Angie. Now we have a 4some where it looks like Vince kinda forced it. This increases the bond between Angie and I, and now we have proper hierarchy in this alliance and by extension, this tribe.
From a personal perspective, Vince is okay. IDK. Fairly middle of the road conversation-wise. Predictable on what he likes, so pandering is pretty simple. He's oddly worried Sue isn't going home and I have no idea why. Sue showed up for 5 minutes and said nothing.
Joe: Who? We had two conversations, both of which were okay at best. We're aligned somehow. I'll work on this one if he shows up again :/
Parvati: Ugh, I love her, but we've been online at different times and conversation has come to a bit of a halt. I would write more here but there's not much more to say. Nothing has changed here and she's going to be a key come swaps, especially with Jim.
Aras: We have what we're calling a 'Non-aggressor pact'. He made this with multiple people. I'm gonna go ahead and put him down in a big ol pile of meh! Our conversations are half decent, putting him in the top half/middle of the tribe, but it's nothing too special. I think there's something to work with here, but I'm not sure if it's going to work in plans quite yet.
David: From what I've been hearing, he's quiet to a lot of people. We talked for a bit, bonded over being newer and he made an alliance with me. It was a bit awkward, but sure whatever. We haven't really talked in the past day, but it seems like it's the same with everyone else. He's definitely juuuust below Aras on the chain here.
So: Hmm. She's cool and decent to talk to, but it doesn't seem like she's getting around too much. Definitely a player you have to instigate the conversation with, but when you do, it's not too bad. I don't know how to work her in right now, but I think it's going to be through Parvati and apart of a larger scheme kinda deal.
Sue: She said hi to me once.
