Hey guys!
I figure my opening statement should more "scratch the surface" of my game rather than go into too much detail (as that's what the jury questions are for, IMO). Throughout this game, while I certainly may not have been on the front lines being flashy, the one thing I had going for me throughout this entire game was awareness. Even if I didn't externalize it, I knew how people were perceived (including myself), as well as awareness as to how people were playing their games (including who was aligned with who) which was definitely something I could use to my advantage. A quick example of this would be when I attempted to save Joe for later dividends (I knew that Katie and Aras had intentions to flip on Jim, even though they hadn't made it public knowledge). On top of my awareness, I was incredibly loyal to those who were loyal to me (primarily Jim, Katie, and Laura until we had to turn on each other at Final 6).
Ultimately, I think my game can be boiled down to a few, key points that illustrate why I should win.
1. Awareness- As I touted earlier, I knew who was with who and, with the exception of Pete's ouster, I knew who was getting voted out when they were getting voted out., even if I didn't necessarily vote in the majority each time
2. Honesty/Loyalty- I knew for my own game, I wouldn't be able to go balls to the wall, lying to everyone about everything. I stayed loyal to those who were loyal to me, while simultaneously advancing myself throughout the game.
3. Staying under the radar- Again, much like my honesty, I knew that going out on the front lines trying to make all the decisions would be nothing but damning to my game. Because of this, I had to adjust my game to make sure I was never the prime target. I stayed in the shadows to make sure I was never the tallest weed or the biggest threat. Was it "bad tv" to intentionally stay in the shadows and intentionally avoid as much flashiness as I could? Sure. Was it effective? Absolutely, because I'm sitting here, arguing my case to you.
To the jury: I look forward to your questions
To Aras and Abi: Best of luck to you guys!
